The Ostrich, A Poem
The Ostrich, A Poem: "If I were an ostrich
I wouldn’t have to see
All the bad news on the BBC
I wouldn’t have to hear
About hunger, war and fear
I wouldn’t have to know
About people stuck in snow
I could happily let days pass
Idly grazing on the grass..."
Wonderful piece of wordsmithing rhyme about serious politics and those who keep choosing to remain clueless to the plight of others. Great read; check it out!
