From Denny:  Ted Cruz.  Just the sound of his name makes most people cringe - like screeching nails on a chalkboard.  But he's definitely political theatre.  He's wonderfully entertaining as you watch Republicans gnash their teeth in agitation and fear.  Democrats find him hilariously funny.  Independents, well, we do a whole lot of eye rolling at our house every time he shows up on the news.  Of course, the news networks are talking him up in the hopes his campaign will spend lots of money on political ads for him. Cha ching!

And, then, the next "of course" is that the journalists and talk show hosts were quietly told to never mention that Cruz is simply not eligible to get into the White House because he was not born on American soil - or a U. S. military base - even a U. S. embassy...

A Truth Journal: Bibi Defies God To Steal Election: Time For U.S. to Quit Funding Israel?: From Denny:  OK, everyone, get as far away as possible from the physical proximity of Netanyahu as you can.  Run.  This man is about to get hit with Heavenly lightning bolts that will burn him to a crisp.  God is furious with Bibi for defying Holy Spirit's instruction to step aside and relinquish power.

Yeah, Netanyahu was praying so loudly to God to retain power that I could hear God's angry reply all the way over here in my writer's cave in south Louisiana, the U. S.  Bibi defied God and declared he was going to take the election in spite of what God told him.

And we all know you don't blaspheme Holy Spirit and get away with that level of crass spiritual rebellion, especially if you are Jewish.  There is a reason God calls the Jews his Chosen People. It's because if you can take the most rebellious folks on the planet and teach them spiritual obedience, then, well, anyone is capable of learning it too.  Bibi seriously screwed up by forcing his will against God's.

Bibi is so clueless that he doesn't even realize he is already circling the drain before he makes his first speech as the "reelected" crook.  It didn't help any that he used racism and fear mongering as a kick starter.  Yeah, that really helps advance humanity on the development scale.  (serious eye rolling happening at our house)

Of course, to ensure his fragile hold on a win, Bibi stole the election because the U. S. Republicans showed him how to do it.  If the shocked and surprised Israeli pollsters are smart they will do some digging and investigation into how this election was stolen because American pollsters "enjoyed" the same experience in the same manner for the last U. S. election ...

Comedy Gods Deliver Rape Advocates? Akin 4 Senate, Ryan 4 White House

From Denny:  The Comedy Gods have been busy.  First they struck their magic wands onto the tongue of Rep. Todd Akin (R-MO), who is running for the Missouri Senate, and caused him to speak his true mind about his definition of what is rape and what is not.

Then the Comedy Gods touched off a firestorm among America's women - and many men - who were resoundingly insulted by his callous ill-informed remarks about the traumatic event of rape.  As usual, these conservatives are also wrong on the medical facts as Akin was quick to quote as if it were true.

OK, a quick recap on what happened in this election year Bonehead Stupid Gaffe.  And, for all the media idiots that thought playing the Devil's Advocate for Rape Advocates, was also an exercise in joining the Dumb and Dumber Club.  Why do reputable news sites hire these despicable fools?

Romney Self-Destructs: Chose Tea Party Favorite Paul Ryan As VP

From Denny:  If you thought the Romney campaign could not get any worse with the political gaffes and missteps, now hear this.  Yes, Romney just chose ultra conservative - and nationally hated - Rep. Paul Ryan as his VP running mate.

That certainly is a game changer, boys, the wrong one.  Well, guess Obama can now count on a second term after all - provided he keeps his political strategists like Axelrod and Plouffe from being his surrogates.  They really are just too sleazy for public viewing.

Romney's VP pick certainly increases Obama's chances at a second term, especially with Papa Joe as the ever-endearing Obama VP that is good for the country.  VP Joe Biden is the stark contrast of a caring person with a stellar foreign policy knowledge and experience compared to the punk attitude of Ryan.  Joe will eat up Ryan in any debates.  That stupid decision of the Republican strategists to fire up the conservative base will cost Romney the election as it did for McCain when he chose Sarah Palin.

Im Just Saying: How To Protect Your Vote

From Denny:  Middle Class America watches the national political scene play out and we have all come to the same conclusion.  Yes, both political parties, the Republicans and the Democrats, are so ridiculously compromised by corporate money they are morally rotten to the core.

Neither party listens to their base.  Neither party seriously considers doing anything for their base to improve their lives for such obvious areas like the outrageous cost of health insurance or equal pay in the work place.

Don't believe the moral rot to be true?  There was a time, like the 2008 election, when $100 million won the campaign.  Consider this:  President Obama bragged about how he and Team Obama were collecting $1 billion for his reelection campaign.

The Republicans' Bragging Rights?  They are collecting their own $1 billion - via the Karl Rove machine - and adding to it as we speak.  Over $300 million alone has been donated from The Koch Brothers in this election cycle, the ultra conservative billionaires that hate unions and the unemployed.

Expect major political ad carpet bombing from both camps right before the November vote.  Yes, moral rot has disintegrated two once interesting competing political parties.  No longer is it about the issues that face this country and the practical solving of those problems.  Those days are long gone.

It's all just devolved into the The Game of Shoveling BS by armies of political strategists and media news producers out to line their own pockets at the taxpayers' expense.  The problem is that the public is no longer so willing to give any of these parties the benefit of the doubt.  Could it be it has to do with their lack of deeds to back up their claims? Ya think?

Prayer Curse: Republicans Call For Obama Death

From Denny:  From the deviants' corner of the morally reprehensible comes a circulating email from Republican politicians to pray for God to kill President Obama.

These guys are unbelievable.  Just when you think they could not sink any lower on the vile meter, they come up with Bible verses to demand the death of a sitting President.

The real question is this:  But has anyone decided to do a sanity test on these sitting politicians?  Maybe it's time to take matters into our own hands and for the public to demand such a test be performed.  People seem to forget the intense harm that one crazy guy - by the name of Senator McCarthy - did to this country.

McCarthy devastated the careers of many Hollywood actors who refused to name friends as Communists.  Old McCarthy was demanding false witnesses or retribution.  Those who did not participate in his insanity paid some high prices. 

Will Geer of "The Waltons" fame is one such actor, though his career did rebound the last years of his life. In order to make a living outside acting during the McCarthy years when Geer was blackballed, he turned to horticulture, becoming a world renowned expert.

What has now come to light many decades later is that McCarthy was suffering from some serious dementia, most likely Alzheimer's.  Yet he went undiagnosed and a nation was in the grips of - and held hostage by - his vicious insanity for years.  Are we really going to allow this toxic political atmosphere to careen out of control yet again and in this generation?

From Denny: This budget mess is a dark farce, courtesy of the Republicans and their inbred political cousins, the Tea Party. The GOP hates women and they hate giving federal funding for women's health care.

Millions of women depend upon that funding in Title 10 which provides reproductive and preventative care. Since it is mainly low-income women who are the beneficiary of these funds, Republicans don't care. After all, low-income people are not their voting demographic. Nor have they ever done anything for women either.

The whole process is disingenuous. To get the $100 billion the Tea Party demands, it's obvious: all you have to do is stop these idiot wars in Afghanistan and Iraq where we spend billions per month. And now our heavy involvement in Libya is equally expensive - to the tune of $1 million per Tomahawk missile fired to enforce the No-Fly Zone.

Want more easy cuts? Try the $1 billion "tax cuts" for the wealthy that President Obama gave away far too easily, especially when 70 percent of the entire country said they did not want the rich to get tax cuts. He foolishly did it anyway. And now, here we are months later, with all of Congress and the President looking stupid in this budget fight.

It's been a head-scratching wonder how long it would take for the Democrats to finally quit playing doormat and say no to the GOP bullying. Every time there is an agreement, the GOP back up on their word and greedily demand more. Politicians throwing temper tantrums is getting old.

Wisconsin: Dark Side Karl Rove, GOP War On Working Families, Anti-Union Ad

From Denny:  It's official. Karl Rove, the lying hyena Bush political strategist is running an ad against the unions and paid for by the Koch Brothers. They have dropped the pretense it's all about balancing the budget. Now they admit it's all about busting the unions to benefit their billionaire employer handlers.

Of course, the figures are wrong. Even the conservative GOP think tank from which they inflated the figures, Cato Institute, corrected Rove and said he lied.

This lying ad from American Crossroads GPS, the obscenely well-funded Republican super PAC, is a 60-second spot that goes up today.  They take square aim at public employees as well as President Obama because he received support from the unions in his 2008 campaign.

America Is NOT Broke Wisconsin Speech: Activist Michael Moore

From Denny:  Sounds like Michael Moore has been listening in to the conversations at our house - or hijacked my keyboard strokes. :) Seriously though, great speech and ALL true! You can read the transcript or listen to the video he posted onto YouTube.

Moore spoke at a rally against Gov. Walker's decision to deny collective bargaining rights to the teachers he has decided to fire. First the public workers lose their rights, then the rest of us across the country watch our wages drop like a rock to ten cents an hour like in a third world country.

Women are now supposed to make exactly what men make for the same job since President Obama passed the new equal pay law when he first entered office. Since then the economy took a nose dive into another Great Depression that economists are afraid to label as such but the middle class knows it to be true. Almost 21 million people are out of work, whether long term or short term since Big Business started sending our jobs overseas. The big joke for tourism to India: "Visit India, Visit Your Old Job."

From Denny: "Got Palin fatigue?" You have plenty of company, like 56 percent of the rest of America, according to a new CNN poll. How is Palin's unpopularity among women? It's gone up 10 points.

How does she poll among Independents? They sure don't like her either. That score has risen rapidly in the past few months a stunning 14 points to 59 percent against Palin. Independents tend to prefer civility and bipartisanship of which Palin does not subscribe.

From Denny:  Talk about bizarre political theater. Today the Republicans took over for their first day as Majority Party in the House. What did they do? They wasted your tax dollars and mine by spending the day reading aloud the Constitution. Can you believe it? We taxpayers give them free health care for which they begrudge the rest of us. We taxpayers give them an outrageous $168,000 a year salary for a part-time job. They have the nerve to waste our money, our time - and insult our intelligence - by reading the Constitution aloud like a bunch of fourth graders in a bad readers reading class.

From Denny:  Former President Bill Clinton keeps rising in popularity as President Obama descends that ladder. America is restless. Since Obama was elected the middle class has grown increasingly disappointed we are left out in the cold - again - by the Democratic Party that used to support the middle class against Big Business eroding our wealth, our stability, our hopes for the future.  The people ARE the economy and when the people have lost confidence the economy slides down into despair.

Republicans in Congress lack compassion for anyone but Big Money, Big Business, Big Oil and Big Insurance. Then it's all crying and whining about wanting to continue the Bush tax cuts - which, by the way, are 30 percent of our current deficit. Yeah, deficit hawks, you don't ever mention that "factoid" to your Republican and Independent voters, now do you?

Whats Happening in America, This Weeks Political Cartoons - 10 Apr 2010

From Denny: We all have heavy hearts as we watched the coal mining disaster in West Virginia unfold this week. I haven't commented any about this news story as I had a bad feeling all the miners were dead. When families are grieving they need to hold onto hope as they process what they already know to be true. Like so much of America I've been praying for the families of the miners as they travel through this sad journey.

The harshest fact is this disaster should never have happened. The owners and managers of that mine were fined constantly for not ventilating the mine properly. That's mining 101 in any one's book. It's bad karma when business people exhibit this depraved indifference toward others. This is another sad example as to why we must place restraints upon unrestricted free trade and rash business practices. Safety should be the utmost priority for workers.

Moving along to political disasters there is the much touted Tea Party, comprised of loud screamers and unhooded racists. There is a nasty violence growing among these loosely formed - and increasingly trending as - domestic political terrorists. Too many of their leaders have advocated violence against America's lawmakers and President. Too many of the wing nut followers have taken up the call and phoned in and faxed death threats to the President and the lawmakers, primarily Democrats.

There is just something inherently so terribly un-American about Americans calling on other Americans to turn on each other like a pack of rabid dogs. There was a time when this country used to stand for something and we stood together - in spite of our political differences. The toxic atmosphere by this generation's version of Republicans and vicious talk show hosts has turned America into a virtual wasteland where neighbors don't trust each other any more or care for one another like they once did. How long before America comes to its senses to realize how much the worst and darkest parts of themselves have been manipulated into doing the bidding of vicious people?

Adding more insult to America is the Virginia governor who was pandering to his Republican Party racists and promoted the month of April as Confederate Month. The Civil War was the ugliest war in America's history where brother literally fought against brother - and not always for the reasons listed by history books. Many families fought on both sides of the war. For some in the South who were wealthy it really was about fighting against abolishing slavery. They knew if slavery was abolished they would go bankrupt as slavery was the cheapest labor on the market. Depraved but true.

Most in the South, especially those who were not wealthy, fought for state's rights over a centralized federal government which frightened many. You have to remember, in another time, Big Business and Congress charged the first impeachment process toward President Andrew Johnson over the fact he was serious about turning America to a centralized banking system.

Immature people hate and fear change. They want what they already know over an uncertain future even when all turns out well in the end. Which brings us to the Tea Party folks who dread change like temper tantrum throwing toddlers whose whole world is self-centered interest. They don't want change even when it will benefit them. I guess these are the control freaks in America who don't like their authority taken away. They did such a lousy job of leadership they did not deserve to continue in power because they caused so much misery to millions of fellow Americans on so many levels.

Speaking of abuse, the Catholic Church has yet to accept accountability at the heart of the Vatican. The corruption is so rampant the Church is already fractured and breaking up on a spiritual level. It's time to decentralize this Church of one billion members into country or continental groups where it is more manageable to keep track of and discipline unacceptable clergy. No one should have the right to prey upon little children. It's despicable. It's even more despicable to enable these guys to continue, not standing up for the vulnerable in society and doing right by them. To be excommunicated by a corrupt clergy means nothing to the real God. If you are right with God then He is right with you. No church can exercise otherwise.

To prevent this sexual abuse in the future it's time the federal governments - where especially America should take the lead and - should start taxing the church environment. Exempting churches from taxes has been a wrong social experiment that requires correction. The church environment, no matter the religion or the denomination or sect, has been an environment ripe for corruption. It is easy to hide wrong-doing like Muslim terrorists, easy to develop an unhealthy cult like the bizarre Waco crowd, and easy to encourage sexual predators in a group that is above the touch of the law - like the recent Protestant and Catholic situations.

On a lighter note, cartoonists had great fun lampooning the new iPad roll out in technology. Steve Jobs was compared often to God and his followers as mindless sheep addicted to the newest technology.

More fun was poked at the IRS season with all kinds of good humor and hand-wringing by the average taxpayer. Well, at least we are rid of King George Bush's excessive taxation "fun." That's one piece of good news. I figure if we all howl loud enough, and vote often, over the next few years we can fine tune our current government's efforts into something good for all. We must continue to press hard against the wealthiest interests as the lobbyists have not left our lawmaker's sides as the thorns in the side of the American public.

Tiger Woods - who still doesn't "get it" - again. He actually had the nerve today to compare his comeback with that of golfer Hogue. Hogue was in a terrible car accident where he was told he would never walk again. He was a hero. He had thrown his body over his wife, and, in so doing, saved her life. He eventually learned to walk again and returned to golf. Somehow, Tiger Woods is living in a fantasy in his head if he thinks he can even remotely compare himself to this man of good character and heroics. Woods must be an undiagnosed narcissist and that condition is very difficult to treat:
