Prayer Curse: Republicans Call For Obama Death

English: President Barack Obama and the First ...
Image via Wikipedia
From Denny:  From the deviants' corner of the morally reprehensible comes a circulating email from Republican politicians to pray for God to kill President Obama.

These guys are unbelievable.  Just when you think they could not sink any lower on the vile meter, they come up with Bible verses to demand the death of a sitting President.

The real question is this:  But has anyone decided to do a sanity test on these sitting politicians?  Maybe it's time to take matters into our own hands and for the public to demand such a test be performed.  People seem to forget the intense harm that one crazy guy - by the name of Senator McCarthy - did to this country.

McCarthy devastated the careers of many Hollywood actors who refused to name friends as Communists.  Old McCarthy was demanding false witnesses or retribution.  Those who did not participate in his insanity paid some high prices.

Will Geer of "The Waltons" fame is one such actor, though his career did rebound the last years of his life. In order to make a living outside acting during the McCarthy years when Geer was blackballed, he turned to horticulture, becoming a world renowned expert.

What has now come to light many decades later is that McCarthy was suffering from some serious dementia, most likely Alzheimer's.  Yet he went undiagnosed and a nation was in the grips of - and held hostage by - his vicious insanity for years.  Are we really going to allow this toxic political atmosphere to careen out of control yet again and in this generation?

Cleveland Mayor Spanks Big Banks On Abandoned Foreclosures

From Denny:  A crooked Congress and a delusional President continue to ignore the millions of foreclosed homes at their peril. America's Winter Revolution is about to erupt like a super volcano before the New Year has a chance to arrive.

Yes, Americans are that fed up at inequality, unemployment, under employment, unfairness, a police state mentality against peaceful protests and double standards for the law.

Mayors across the country are equally desperate about how to deal with the huge inventory of abandoned foreclosed homes getting vandalized.  The foreclosure scavenger thieves are quite sophisticated.  They check out the evictions of the foreclosed homes at the sheriff's department online and arrive the same afternoon to rip apart the house like a demolition team.

Where Is The Middle Class in America? Half Living Low Income Or Poor

The St. Columbanus Church food pantry in Chicago feeds 500 households a week, but some weeks it struggles to keep up with demand.

From  Denny:  Where is the middle class in America?  Half of Americans are now scraping by on low income or downright poverty, according to the latest census data.  That's 146 million doing without because of high unemployment, costs that have risen fast, stayed high and suppressed wages.

Mayors of 29 cities say they cannot meet the needs for emergency food assistance, food stamps, and are turning away 25 percent of applicants.  There are already 46 million people on food stamps, a former middle class that never asked for any help until now. Federal and states' programs are frayed at the edges.

And the Republicans claim the Democrats are screaming "class warfare"?  These figures don't lie.  Just where did the GOP expect the unemployed to go?  How do they expect people to eat?

Bigger Scandal: How Big Banks Bailouts Scammed Trillions Not Billions

From Denny:  $7.77 trillion is how much the Big Banks leveraged from our taxpayer TARP bailouts of only billions.  How did they get the federal government to give them more than the original bailout?   Read on and line up an early appointment for your anger management class.  Trust me; you are so going to need it.

From Denny:  Ellen Schultz, an investigative reporter, discovered that Big Business has taken the private pension plans for millions of workers - to the tune of 44 million people - and, instead, "turned them into profit centers for their companies."  As a result, the plans are severely underfunded.

Did you know that as recently as 10 years ago, these same retirement plans were so flush with cash that they   experienced a quarter of a trillion dollar surplus?

Millions Of Homeowners Are Floundering, Market in Freefall

From Denny:  President Obama rolled out yet another homeowners program aimed at propping up the housing market and therefore the economy.  It's doomed to fail as well as the other recent two programs that were rife with crooks administering them.

Crooked Deal, No Oversight: Bank America Gets $75 TRILLION Bailout From Taxpayers?

Bank of America TowerBank of America Image via Wikipedia

From Denny:  Think you know just how scummy the tactics are on Wall Street?  Wait for it because this week the American taxpayers got skunked yet again - and without Congress getting involved.

What happened to screw over Americans?  You see Bank of America got greedy and shoveled toxic derivatives out of their recently purchased Merrill Lynch and into the part of the bank that is insured by the U.S. government: taxpayers.

That way the Merrill Lynch unit of Bank of America will not be responsible for what could be as much as $75 TRILLION in this toxic dump.  That's how much of this garbage they have in house. To get perspective on this, the annual American economy is only $15 trillion.

Dennys Funny Quotes: Funny Daily Show Comic John Oliver Interviews Occupy Wall Street Protesters

John Oliver, photo taken on October 11, 2009, ...Image via WikipediaDennys Funny Quotes: Funny Daily Show Comic John Oliver Interviews Occupy Wall Street Protesters: From Denny: The Daily Show's British comic, John Oliver, goes out into the Occupy Wall Street crowd to try and identify with their emerging culture. Over 57 percent of America agrees with this protest. But, John Oliver asks, do we have what it takes to be a part of this protest?

Oliver explores the odd hand language that has emerged during the movement. It seems strange to wriggle your fingers in the air, either up for approval, down for disapproval or wriggling in the middle zone for "not real crazy about that idea, folks."

The truth is these are some clever folks. They have created inventive ways around the New York City restrictions on noise levels, no use of amplification devices and the like officials have tried to use against them to discourage and hamper the protests. All it has done is grow the protest crowds - and stretch their imagination.

News Links: Occupy Wall Street Protests 1 - 12 Oct 2011

From Denny:  Occupy Wall Street is finally getting the attention of mainstream media.  Europe, the Middle East and Asia are as fascinated with the protest movement as are Americans.  Wall Street and other Big Business concerns like Fox News have tried to trivialize the anger of America's majority but to no avail.

The protests are growing exponentially as more people from all different walks of life and age groups are lifting up their voices in protest against America's "bought government" and demanding reform from our highest politicians.

Check out how the media's awareness of the movement has evolved from first "why take them seriously" to "OMG! This is the real deal!"  The protest first erupted in New York City in September.  At the time the organizers planned to march for three weeks.  Now that the movement has morphed and evolved, developing a life of its own, organizers threw that plan out of the window, planning to march indefinitely.

Occupy Wall Street: Are Their Conclusions Correct?

From Denny:  This new American Revolution, Occupy Wall Street, caught fire across America in less than one month of protests.  OWS is spreading to 25 cities like an oozing peanut butter sandwich overflowing with jam - and is now international too.  There is just something so appealing about this protest movement because of its common ground that cuts across the spectrum of race, gender, lifestyle, generations, education and economic class.

Occupy Wall Street Protests Mantra

Occupy Wall Street protesters have been smart in targeting the lynch pin of American society:  the financial sector.  It is the financial sector that buys the politicians to pass the laws to unleash business to have free rein and never enforce what laws are on the books.

It's the financial sector that buys the police force to intimidate ordinary citizens like those incidents of pepper sprayed women during the protests.  Notice they didn't go after men who could pummel them; they went after women.

Occupy Wall Street Protests: Where To Find In Your State

Occupy AnchorageOccupy COMO

From Denny:  The Occupy Wall Street protests are growing so fast that it is tripling every three days.

The mainstream media complains it is too difficult to cover the protests.  That sure sounds like their Big Business handlers and Wall Street are trying to sideline the protesters.

Well, not so fast Big Boys.  The following is America's list by the states and territory of OWS protest events, dates and timeline updates.  The understaffed and unofficial website, Occupy Together, is trying to pull together information and events across the country.  Check in with them and maybe help with the work load if you can.

Meanwhile, you can check in your area where you can join the protests from the list below.

The Twitter page is Occupy The US.

Currently, the protests have left the original New York City birth place and spread out first to 200 cities and now to over 400 cities in less than a week.

It's a new American Revolution that has gone viral as a way to voice America's anger at getting shafted by Big Business and government that refuses to address a serious jobs program and all the ensuing social issues that have been born out of a chaotic economy and long term unemployment.

I'm a journalist.  Do you see me having a hard time covering this OWS protest?  No one owns me so I'm free to speak the whole truth.
