Poem: Poetry native heritage

Poetry native heritage:

"My Grandmother...An Apache Queen....
A Native American, in the American Dream
By Escaping the reservation, some of her family died...
Though born to hardship...Her Soul survived...

The cost for freedom, she learned was dear......
And throughout her life, there was always the fear.
That someone would come and take her away.
To a far off land, where she’d have to stay..."

From an Apache Native American poetess come two family history poems about her grandmother and grandfather. She observes how much our American culture has changed in the past century. You will enjoy the insight into one of America's parallel cultures.
